the new anthology by women of colour in Guelph.
The Women of Colour Collective is collecting work by women of colour in the Guelph community to showcase our creativity and artistry. We strive to provide an outlet for women of colour that acknowledges the diverse experiences that we encounter in the hopes of creating understanding and solidarity within the Guelph community.

**Writer's guidelines**

We welcome work by self-identified women of colour including aboriginal and mixed-raced women. We seek to provide different perspectives and representation and to educate various communities about the issues that affect us.

Stories, essays, prose, poems, and experimental work welcome. We are also accepting artwork, photography, and other visuals. Please send only photographs or high resolution digital copies, no originals.

[Artwork may be published in black and white.]
Personal Essays/Articles/Short stories should be no longer than 4000 words.

The Women of Colour Collective seeks to provide a safe space for women of colour free from discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, linguistic background, creed, gender, sexual orientation, ability and class. We strive to create awareness of all the challenges that women of colour experience and create options for dealing with such challenges.
