Job Posting: B.C. Evening Editor

Contract: 6 hours per week

rabble.ca, Canada’s leading non-profit, independent news and multimedia website, seeks a dynamic B.C. Evening Editor, to expand our regional coverage. The B.C. Evening Editor brings their knowledge of B.C. to rabble.ca’s coverage and their editorial eye to our content in the evenings, Pacific Time. This editor is responsible for reviewing and promoting rabble content, and guides rabble’s B.C. beat, seeking out contributors and ensuring that rabble covers key B.C. issues each week.

The B.C. Editor also has the option to shape rabble’s regional coverage by contributing up to two stories each week, on a paid-per-piece basis, outside of the contracted hours.

This is a part-time position. The time commitment is six hours per week, spread out over five days, and worked in the evenings after 6 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday to Friday.
