CBC and the "Abolish Abortion" Group PART II
Michelle, you'll enjoy this, I think: Facebook/Off[/...
(I still can't log in.)
Edited to add: wow, now it's -
quote:
Safari can’t open the page “https://login.facebook.com/login.php”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.

HA! You got my number.
That's hilarious. And, um, not unheard of, either!
From what I'm reading on blogs, this is North-American wide. Someone in the UK has limited access.
Michelle, are you still on?
Oh, now I'm getting the error message. Weird. I logged in about 10 minutes ago, right when I posted here. I wasn't already logged in when I posted - I read this thread about you getting the error message and then I logged in and was fine. But then I closed the window because I didn't actually want to do anything, just wanted to check and see if I could get in.
Oh, now it worked again for me. I'm in. Strangely enough, though, I can't access your profile. You're listed as my "friend" but when I click on your name to go to your profile, nothing happens.

Still not working for me. Just out of curiosity, are you able to send messages? Go to the CBC Wish List?
Edited to add: I am able to look at the "about" section, as well as "developers" - everything that's listed on the footer of the homepage (http://www.facebookcom).
But I can't log in.

I get:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Michelle, this is from the blog entry I linked to above ("I can't login to Facebook ..."):
quote:
Yup most of it’s backup now (in UK) - cant seem to get to other peoples profiles though so there still doing something. Can do a lot of operations though, just updated status etc.

Just checked. Yes, I can go to the Wish List group. And I just sent you a message.
[ 29 June 2007: Message edited by: Michelle ]
So theoretically I still exist, virtually. That's a relief!
I don't know, maybe you don't exist. I just e-mailed you a screen capture of what I got when I clicked on your profile! Really odd. But I'm sure it's just temporary while it's down for maintenance. However...when I clicked on other friends' profiles, their whole profile came up as usual.

Michelle, I received an e-mail about the message you sent me on Facebook. Followed that, and I am in!
(Perhaps you are all-powerful, or it's just weird timing.)
Edited to add: So I'm notified of your message, but it's not in my inbox. Strangerer and strangerer.

Well, I'm seeing your full profile now.
Yeah, I'm back.
Facebook gave me back my account too and I made Judy the admin of our pro choice group, cool eh?
=D
