The Wizard of S...

If someone wanted to make a monthly donation to Babble, but doesn't have a chequing account, could that person pay by his/her visa/mastercard? I know you can for lump sum donations, but 29.5% interest is a little much for some of us.

I donate a monthly amount which is automatically deducted by VISA. It's quite painless. I'm sure postal orders would always be welcome. You can send gold bullion by any of the major courier services, though Brinks might be the wiser choice.

Hee. Yes, by all means, send gold!

Seriously though. The credit card deductions are pretty painless (I have my payments taken from my bank account, and it's the same way). You can do as little as $5 per month (well, I suppose you could do less than that too, actually). It all adds up. And it's automatic, until you request that the payments stop.

If I'm not mistaken, you don't have to have a chequing account in order to have the direct withdrawals come out of your account. If you have a regular savings account, that would work too, wouldn't it?

You could e-mail membersATrabbleDOTca and find out from Laurel.

Cool.

Thanks very much, by the way. It's very needed.
