yup. Welcome. That was an interesting read from your blog ... realizing what your chances were with your prospective employer and having the courage to move on. "I been there before," says this Huck Finn. But how it stings, at least in my experience, when others express doubts about what you know in your guts is true and when there seems to be nothing you can do but cut your losses.

Thanks for the welcome and the comments about my blog. [img]smile.gif" border="0[/img] The blog is something of an experiment. There are problems in journalism and I was thinking of ways to address them; so I thought about the questions of transparency -- letting people know every step I made trying to cover a story, even if I screw up or strike out somehow. But then it kind of evolved into something much more personal.
