Science blog poll...

Anyone want to help with this?

Voting is going on now for the annual Weblog awards. In the science category a climate change denialist blog (Climate Audit) is currently in the lead due to getting some circulation in US conservative blogs.

People who want an actual science blog to win have aggregated behind the Bad Astronomy blog, which is behind by about 2.5% right now. Any help is appreciated.

Aside: If anyone feels like figuring out how to cheat, let me know how far you get. I have one way but it is really tedious (reset a VM image). Tracking is not through cookies or IP addresses, and I can't find any obvious registry accesses. I haven't checked use of temporary files but it seems unlikely.

One thing I forgot to mention:

You can vote once per day, so if you have voted on a previous day you can do so again.

I think this is the last day though.

Proaxiom, Do you read The Register. There was an article in there about people(probably not our friends) setting up networks of people harvesting VMs so that a small network of paid bloggers could multiply their face value.

If those networks were connected to other nets for special events(a key vote) they could have disproportional values. That takes money.  Too much for you and I but tax free peanuts for Shell and Kraft; the price for "doing democracy" the corporate way.

Never the less, it was a tie unless I was spoofed to a site that said it was over. The vast mass of 'Merica is only experiancing a slightly mild winter, AGW strikes hardest at the poles where human feedback is least.
