How do I send a PM?
I have been here for a long time, but I still cannot figure out how to send a pm except to moderators. help!
See that little image of an envelope with a couple of people (they may supposed to be shaking hands) above this post? Click on it, and you'll get a window that will send a PM to me.
So if you want to send a PM to someone, find a post written by that person and click on the envelope-with-people-shaking-hands icon.
Do you have private messages enabled?
Go to your profile (there's a link just under the main menu that says, "My Profile"). If you don't see any private messages (or something that says, "no private messages") then you probably don't have private messages turned on.
So then you go to "View/Update Profile". And I think on that page, there is an option to turn your private messages on or off.
Anyhow, I just checked your account, and you have private messages turned on (but others who don't mind find the above useful).
So, the way you send private messages is to click on the little envelope icon on the post of a person you'd like to write to. Then a text box page comes up, similar to the usual page for a regular post. Just use it as you would if it were a public post.
Thanks Michelle. I have been trying to do it from my messages page.
This board can be unfriendly that way. Just a suggestion for future upgrades.

You could send the Prime Minister on the bus Gus, or on a plane, or even a bicycle ...
Sorry, I could not resist.

Eerie.
Saga, I almostposted those very words an hour ago in response to one of your posts elsewhere, to show how men can escape dying slowly at the hands of "evil" women.
Talk about forum fatigue... I am now telepathic!

No you are not picking up MY thoughts martin.
You are just regretably sarcastic and inhumane about a very serious issue.

I don't think so. I do think that men who claim to be psychologically abused *can* usually leave, and that is what Paul Simon said in that song.

So can abused women.
But men can't if they are afraid to leave the children with their insane and abusive wife, because they don't get custody.
You have much to learn about the abuse of your gender.

Calm down saga but I get it. Watch out for the recoil.
Your choice of words was wrong as mine have been in the past.
