I like to listen to books when I jog. Since I can't find all the audio books I have on my 'to read list', I was wondering if I could get a few suggestion of good reads to expand my list.

I've started to get hooked on audio books that I borrow from the public library but am really peed off at the way many of the discs have been mishandled - causing me to have had to return a few, unread. I tend to prefer the abridged novels.

I took out Tami Hoag's KILL THE MESSENGER in a 5-disc and 11-disc set (different narrators] It's a novel you might enjoy.

Some of these may have been on audio tape. All, I enjoyed: At all Costs, The Woman and the Ape, Are you Afraid of the Dark?, Miracle Cure,(exceptionally good)

Nothing too heavy, but sorta therapeutic.

Depends on what you're into. What kind of books do you like? What genres?

No harm stimulating discussion. That's what we're about, but after responding to your opening post, I noted in another thread, that you appear to be in the book business.

I won't talk about "genre" but another audio book that I did enjoy was Angels and Demons. You can easily access author and publisher - as with the other titles I referred you to.

In non-fiction, if you should come upon anything on Web Message Board Etiquette, please share.

Bliter,

I’m usually just a reader of discussions so when I posted the initial link on other thread, I wanted to be upfront about who was posting it. That’s why I created the user that I have.

----------------------------

I haven’t had too many problems with the audio books from the Ottawa public libraries. I got a few skips but that’s it.

Angels and Demons was actually the first audio book that got me hooked on the concept. I had tried it a few times before but I always seem to have to go back a chapter since I was missing details.

Thanks for the list.
