Terrorists' blonde ambition

quote:

Members of an alleged homegrown terror cell were hoping to use a few "very presentable" blonde women as part of an elaborate bank scam to raise funds necessary to carry out devastating attacks on Canada, a Brampton court was told yesterday

According to electronic intercepts, the alleged ringleader can be heard explaining that he needs $10,000 to pay for a shipment of 13 imported firearms, including AK-47s, M16s and assault rifles.

The March 3, 2006, exchange, captured in a car probe inside the vehicle of a police informant, came during a conversation with a man named Talib, who explained how he pulled off sophisticated bank frauds using "only white girls."

After an associate creates a fake ID using the name of someone with good credit rating, a blonde woman, or "striker" would go to a bank and secure a loan of between $10,000 and $25,000. That cheque would then be cashed at an outlet such as Money Mart.

So taxpayers paid for transportation for suspected terrorists. Isn't it nice that our agent provocateurs were able to lend credence to an obvious wing-nut?

Given the type of evidence being led I urge all young people in activist groups to be very very careful about who they trust. That radical person beside you egging you on to new heights of rhetorical flourish just might be The Man.

You would think some hard-boiled extremists would at least give the RCMP/CSIS a challenge like discussing their plans in Urdu, Punjabi, Pashto, Arabic, etc. How convenient for the listening public that they should hatch their plans in English.

clandestiny

When several objectives act counter to a fixed ideal- whattaya do?
There was no terrorist plot. If CSIS had listened to me and my friends, they'd have heard plenty of seditious talk too, but ....they NEED something to justify the dead parrot (terrorism) they - or perhaps a better definition is "those elements in our ruling class who look upon we the public as a dangerous fool best led around by the nose" - that begat the 'war on terrorism' in first place. This setup includes the 'war' in Afghanistan/Iraq, and support for the bushytail ie foxnews, agenda, whatever that is. Long ago, the 'people' were not involved in the various doings of the hogs, certainly not in the planning. But now the people are involved, and this means the hog must never rest- it's lif'erdeath, to roughly quote Katharine Graham, the Nixon era Washpost owner. So several, often conflicting, objectives are at work, and the newsmedia, which fronts for the busybody bushytail nitwit upper class twits who are the 'men behind the curtain' we (iow their media) pretend for us no one notices despite all the obvious ado off in the shadows! Thus you get the 'toronto 18' splashed all over the news (SARS w/out any dead peasants) and the media assumes we believe it, though i and most of you, could have told them on sept11/01 the only one able to stage such a drama in broad daylight, present it via media to 'we' the sheeple w/out any dreary quentions etc, get away clean with the deed while enjoying the admiration of the 'great game' play, but most of all BENEFIT from the event by... accrueing mo power, and using it for murdering a million innocent people and perverting hushtory so badly the JFK murder suddenly looks like it's solved: Bruce Willis said whoever did 911 also did Nov22/63, but the msmedia bushtails never heard him, no way ho say!
If Obama declares martial law and says 'better round up the twittery' they'll all have to be given arabic sounding names, and forced to wear duncecaps (but i thot ah-rabs wore towels!) it'll take too long to explain the truth, so the WOT will continue, with the richenfamous playing the bad guys....finally
It'll be a challenge...

Cland,

"There was no terrorist plot."

I guess this is based on something other than the link above.

quote:

"They're probably expecting what happened in London ... some bombing in a subway," he says, referring to the July 2005 terror attack. "Our thing is, it's much, much greater on a scale. It's you do it once and you make sure they can never recover again."

Conspiracy theories make for great movies and comic books, but given the choice, I'll choose arresting these people thanks.

clandestiny

So Citizen Hardner: bringing back Lady Guilotine to fix our sociey's tendency, as represented by the 'Toronto 18' case, to 'When in panic, When in doubt, Run in circles, Scream and shout!' and let the real bad guys (busharper, blair, mulroney, mike harris, rex murphy, sharon dunn and sister carlyn, judy madrin, mansbridge, lori goldstein, steyn, and most of all, brent bambury etc) get away with fraud is okay by you?
Here's a post from yesterday that was put aside; but it touches on this idea- the rightwing can say anything, but any doubts spoken in public are 'conspiracy theories'...

John oakley, 640 am's morning boor, interviewed pat buchanon this morning (Fri, June6) Buchanon explained the 2nd world war- and its unnecessity. With Oakley glorying in the aura of the great man's wisdom, Buchanon explained how the allies screwed up big time by getting into a shooting war with Hitler in the first place. Hitler was actually 'preempting' his enemies by doing the things he did: we threatened him (behind the scenes) and therefore roughing up Austria and Czechoslovakia, marching into the Ruhr etc, and finally going after Poland all were defensive measures, of sorts, understandable when you consider the west's overriding leftist mentality ...why couldn't the west see that Hitler would eventually take out the USSR (Oakley authoritively states, btw, communism murdered a 'hundred million' people, which dwarfed nazism's horrors by any measure- damn them media/historians etc for misleading everybody about the facts!) and work to achieve change in nazi Germany via subtle pressure blah blah blah ...Buchanon claims the 'holocaust' only started when Hitler realized the war was lost, about 1942, and decided to kill off the Jews in frustration, or spite, since he was doomed anyway. Buchanon has a book he's selling. (FYI, the racist/sexist mauling of Clinton and Obama were actually leftwing doings, since it's a proven fact the US mass media are leftwing libs, and rightwingers are unfairly accused of racism etc by the left media!) Hmmm(??) ....Buchanon went on to preach that the wars against the Arab Muslim nations, and possibly with Iran, waiting in the wings, are foolish wastes of time/energy, since the 'Arabs' ie Muslims, are no threat to the USA, being incapable of building armies or deploying nukes, iow 'we' are in an big uproar for nothing-they are savages. My summary of Oakley's show is 3rd rate; i only heard bits of the show, and perhaps my take is too glib but anyone aware of the almost clinical dishonesty of these people (hasn't Pat Buchanon ever heard of colonialism? Surely being under the Ottoman heel, then carved up like a turkey by Europeans powers, has affected the way the Arabic peoples run their countries!) makes the Obama story a foregone conclusion unless Mr Obama recognises that bastards like buchanon have to be marginalised, somehow (yes, he's already been marginalised, but 640 AM is in one of the largest radio markets in Canada, and the BushyTail News is available everywhere, including the US military) then nothing Obama does will make any difference...

Gee, I was afraid you were going to misrepresent my position there.
