What can they say?
No army to throw around right now, and no dough to finance an insurrection? The big stick is useless at this point.

Maybe that's a lesson for us all-- that we can use the shock doctrine to advantage. Washington is a bit too preoccupied in the last couple of weeks to pay much attention to things down Mexico way. I bet even Lou Dobbs gave his thinly vieled racism a rest.
