Bank Bailout Fiasco

So many questions, so many angles:

1. Has anyone seen the terms and conditions of this bailout of the Canadian Banks? Who wins, who loses? My fear is this is a US style bailout with no ownership or chance for the Canadian taxpayer to make money. all the risk, none of the rewards (socialized losses, privatized gains) Is there time TODAY to get this clear to see if there needs to be a response before end of day today?

2. Its obvious that the Cons are in panic mode - to do this early day last day before thanksgiving weekend means they were hitting their last window of opportunity before others could respond well. What should the NDP political response be?
We have been told for weeks the Canadian banks were in GREAT shape. Now, this? Legitimately, we must make hay from this ineptitude. How should this be communicated in the most effective way?
