Okay, this is how these silly 50 post fights start - someone posts a one-liner insult like that for no reason other than injecting a gratuitous flame into the thread, and then the whole thread goes to hell in a handbasket. I just happened to notice this now when it happened, so I'm stepping in to ask that we not go there, okay? I don't want to come back tonight and find a screaming match.

Here, here! But I would actually say Tommy's example of the blueberries and the bees exemplifies how profit driven initiatives and the entire monetary system is counter productive to the advancement of society and human potential.
To be sure, there is something very wrong with a society whose framers use the food bank.
A blueberry farmer should not be in competition (for $$$) with the bee farmer. In fact, it's unnatural - they should be working together and complementing each other's efforts.
Capitalism, better termed as competitionism, is counter productive. It limits so many grand, and much needed possibilities in our society. When will we demand our freedom from the monetary system?
