Just wondering what the different NDP associated Youth Wings are coming up with and doing this past year and where we should go from here. I personally am excited about the ONDY Convention and have high hopes for the hard Left to recapture the Exec but lets hear from the righty's to if they are open to dialog. everyone: Whats Up?

When I return to UBC I will be joining up with the NDP youth on campus. I have connected via facebook and the group seems active and I am ready to pull up my sleeves.

I too am looking forward to ONDY Convention '08 and agree
that NDP needs to revisit it's leftwing principles. Considering the leadership
convention this year and that each campus club gets to send delegates, the
youth voice will have more sway. At ONDY convention I want to discuss what
kinds of commitments we are seeking in order for the potential leaders to earn
our votes. I was very dismayed to learn that three of the four candidates would
not consider a discussion about the funding systems of public schools. I am
concerned that if these candidates are not even committed to democratic debate
around public schools, then their views around post-secondary institutions
would be similar. What do say enemy?

Question - when is the ONDY Convention this year? I return to Vancouver Dec 3rd.
