Al Jazeera Creative Commons Repository offers images from inside Gaza free of charge

Will Western media dare to use them?

Welcome to the Al Jazeera Creative Commons Repository

On this site you will find select broadcast quality footage that Al Jazeera has released under various Creative Commons licenses. Through Creative Commons licensing, you are able to legally share and reuse our footage.

Video Footage from War on Gaza

We have made available our exclusive Arabic and English video footage from the Gaza Strip produced by our correspondents and crews. The ongoing war and crisis in Gaza, together with the scarcity of news footage available, make this repository a key resource for anyone producing content on the current situation.

Those pics link to various/random parts of the rabble.ca website. I don't know if it's me or you or rabble.

I think that this is a great initiative by Al Jazeera. I have started reading their website regularly and they have grown to be one of my fav mainstream media outlets.

Thanks Martin.  Think I'll send the link to everyone in my address book.

Hi Le T,

I hyperlinked the title of the page to http://cc.aljazeera.net/ but I didn't even know there would be a hyperlink to each pic. It didn't survive the page transfer, obviously. (That or CSIS is busy blocking certain embarrassing images from The Enemy...)
