Only in Amerika could evolution be described (as it is on the above-linked web site) as a "debate" and a "controversy". What a disturbing and pathetic society.

Well I think that is unfair, as en masse, those with the noted "religious" affiliations, there is not thought to a debate, they simply do not believe in other than "god's creation".

It's a racist f***ing "survey". The "blacks" are less into science than the "whites", eh? And what about those who adhere to Aboriginal spiritual traditions - they're not European enough, so they're "unaffiliated", or just zero?
The whole premise of this survey, indeed of the website, is thoroughly racist, anti-scientific, and disgusting. As is this thread.

Actually "historically Black Protestant" churches tend to be evangelical. If you take that into account, they're more likely to accept evolution than white evangelicals.
