Pakistan must make substantial progress in closing down the training camps, evicting foreign fighters, and preventing the Taliban from using Pakistan as a staging area for attacks in Afghanistan. According to the Associated Press weekly tallies of US military deaths in Iraq, at least 14 more have occurred since the Obomba inauguration, up to February 13.

I guess it was a bullseye, but chances are there were some civilians killed as well, as the numbers don't add up. I don't know much about weapons so how is this actually done.

"Mullah Dastagir and Mullah Baz Mohammad, two big Taleban commanders and eight of their men were killed in the air strike by the coalition forces," news agency AFP quoted him as saying.

The pair were top Taleban leaders in the province, he said.

The Afghan defence ministry said there may have been as many as 12 deaths in the incident.

Twenty people, majority of them local tribesmen, were killed and several others were injured in two different missile strikes by US drones in North and South Waziristan tribal agencies on Friday evening, the first such attacks after the takeover by Barack Obama as the US president.

In the first incident, 10 people were killed and several others injured when a US drone fired three Hellfire missiles on a Hujra (male guest house) of Khalil Dawar in Zyaraki village of North Waziristan. According to sources, two spy planes were seen flying over the Mirali town during the strike.

The guest house adjacent to Khalil’s house in Zyaraki village, five kilometres west of Mirali, was razed to the ground in the attack.
