Hey, I just saw David Sparrow in a Cooperators ad!

Related to Sparrow: I've finally got down to looking at a few poll-by-polls for 2008, and am surprised by how many polls he won or nearly won in DVW, presumably in Thorncliffe/Flemingdon type zones--even if other parts were deadsville.  Has the federal NDP ever been this "poll-winning/competitive" in this seat?  It's a real "ghost of what could have been (and could still be)" outcome.

Though it could just as well be a measure of the collapse of the Liberals--after all, similar dynamics seem to have worked on behalf of the Tories' Christine McGirr in Trinity-Spadina's Harbourfront/Cityplace-ish zones...
