This is a bit of a poser. This morning's Le Soleil reports that Vice-Premier Nathalie Nomandeau has acknowledged a relationship with ADQ MNA François Bonnardel. (Gazette matching story in English.) The Soleil piece is accompanied by a few comments to the extent that although there's no scandal in that, it does raise certain questions for their parties' respective leaderships.For example, there are now rumours that Bonnardel is going to defect to the PLQ.
OTOH, Chantal Hébert notes that it's unlikely that many journalists will be throwing many stones, if only because there are so many politician-journalist couples in which both partners are capable - or claim to be capable - of separating their public and private lives.
