And that one started in 1976 concluded several years later by 1978 or 79 that the assassination was probably the result of a conspiracy and undermining the lone rifleman theory. But there was a second investigation because of the doubts and suspicions raised by independent analysis of the evidence.

We can be sure that witness Howard Brennan would still have failed to identify you in the police line-up and had to rely on your FBI file for physical description before broadcasting the APB 15 minutes after the shooting. They might be deliberate bunglers, but they can be very efficient bunglers when trying hard enough. And that's the scary part.
