Let me tell you kids a true story. It might be a little too beep for some with 'scrambled brains' but if you 'remind' yourself that your brain will repair it's self, it will make sense. Twenty five years ago, I was living in Ventura, Ca. The first of my three sons was 3 years old. Life was great. Owned a business brokering 'jumbo C Ds'. A 'jumdo C D' was a 'certificate of deposit' in the Savings & Loans banking system. Guaranteed by the FDIC (Federal Depositors Insurance Corporation) a government agency insuring each depoisit up to $99.999. We made 2-3% in 'basis points' (100ths of a penny) for every deposit. The deposits we were making, were mostly for small 'pention plans' of 2-5 million. We would find a interset rate the 'owner(s) of the C D' would agree to and start the trans actions with the S&L. The S&L that takes the deposits was predetermind by the 'rate of interest' they were willing to pay the 'pention fund. We would break down the 'millions' into as manny accounts as the 'millions' could be devided into $99.000, for 'insurance protection'. Needless to say, the $$$ were rolling in. Sometimes more than we did work for. The 'good times' were rolling. Just bought a new P/U and a new Mercedes was ready to be delivered. As an alcoholic at the time, with addictive traits, there was no problem getting into "California's drug scene", with all that $$$ on hand. Cocaine was mush easyer to get than Cannabis and I did my share. Crystal meth was avalible too.
This is were this story starts. I went with some 'friends' for a drive, all 'high on crystal meth', up the Pacific Coast High-way towards Santa Barbara, up to the Rincon to go surfing. I used to surf every day, as our office was on the beach front, I took my surfboard to work, just in case the tide changed and the waves stated to peel. I love the water but I was afraid to go into the water that day. A couple of days later, same friend says lets go sailing. I learned to sail at the 'Jib Set' sailing school, under the North side of the Burrard St bridge, in 1978. I'm a good sailer and love the sea. I was ready to go. First we had to get high. Smoked a couple of joints and 'Buddy' says let's do some more 'shit' before we go. Off we go to the Ventura Marina to set sail out to sea! We were so fucked up we couldn't even get out of the marina. God saved us that day! That my children was the last time I did that drug. Learned a good leason for ALL of us. Needless to say, my alcohol/drug addiction problem and spending more than my share of the income on drugs, complelled me to rehab, after I was homeless in California for about a year.

When I saw this thread I was excited to see that there was a fourth medical cannabis club opening in Vancouver.
Then I read this thread and saw the strange hostility that drdelta9 seems to have against me personally, because of a factual article about methamphetamine which I wrote several years ago. (The article is here: http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/articles/1656.html )
Then I went to the Vancouver Foresight webpage, and saw that on their top main page they have threats of violence against me and also attacks against Boris St-Maurice (founder of the Canadian Marijuana Party and a Compassion Centre in Montreal).
That's pretty surprising to me considering I don't think I have ever met "drdelta9" and don't know why they have such animosity towards me and Boris and apparently most other people in the cannabis legalization movement.
What's not surprising is that they choose to hide behind a pseudonym while I use my real name and am open about who I am. But I cannot find a single real name attached to the Foresight project. The website doesn't list any actual people who are involved. Why hide behind a veil of secrecy about your identity of you are proud of what you are doing?
However, as far as I am concerned, the more medical marijuana clubs the better.
Our Vancouver Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary at 880 East Hastings now has close to 500 members. We usually offer 10 strains of marijuana, over a dozen kinds of hashish, as well as tinctures and an assortment of food products, plus a new cannabis lotion product which is producing amazing results for people with skin conditions like psoriasis, cuts and sores.

I'm looking for families with children that became victims to 'crystal meth addiction'. More education. You mistake 'animosity' for the facts. Those are facts that the 'marijuana' parties are failures! Cold hard facts. You being a 'crystal meth promoter' is a fact, a cold hard fact you published! Your 'guilt' misinterpretates "protection" as 'threats of violence'. If 'violence' was in order, you would already be suffering from you stupidity. You're just lucky you didn't infect my children with your "dangerous drugs", because I'm sure I'll find some parents that are looking for the bastard(s) that promote 'crystal meth'. Think about this long and hard, before you hit another pipeload of crystal meth'.

The Charter does not give you an inalienable right to say whatever you like about other individuals. It only gives you a right against certain actions taken by government - a common, but important misconception. The Charter also does not give you a right to come on Rabble and threaten other people.
Since we probably won't be seeing much of you from now on, good luck with the class action.
