The Ontario Provincial Police had to impound one of its own cars for a week after an on-duty officer was charged under the province's street racing law.The intelligence officer was driving an unmarked vehicle when she was clocked at 165 kilometres an hour by another OPP officer near the Brantford detachment, the OPP said yesterday.
The incident happened Jan. 31 on Highway 403, OPP Insp. Dave Ross said. The posted speed limit where the officer was pulled over is 100 km/h.
