US torture was conducted by Whitehouse with full complicity of medical professionals

Quote:

Waterboarding might be an excruciating procedure with deep roots in the history of torture, but for the C.I.A.’s Office of Medical Services, recordkeeping of each session of near-drowning was critical. “In order to best inform future medical judgments and recommendations, it is important that every application of the waterboard be thoroughly documented,” said medical guidelines prepared for the interrogators in December 2004.

The required records, the medical supervisors said, included “how long each application (and the entire procedure) lasted, how much water was used in the process (realizing that much splashes off), how exactly the water was applied, if a seal was achieved, if the naso- or oropharynx was filled, what sort of volume was expelled, how long was the break between applications, and how the subject looked between each treatment.”

Fuck, it gives one the shivers to see that torture can be spoken of so scientifically, it reads like the reports from scientists and Drs, working for Hitler.

At least the inquisitors were able to torture the correct confessions from the mouths of 9/11 masterminds. And Americans and Canadians can be glad about that, thank goodness. I know I feel glad and safer about things in general knowing that the torturers got what they were after. Afterall, torture can be a good thing when it comes to stopping terrorism. And so goes the justification to  invade and occupy not one but three countries in the Middle East and Central Asia in order to root out the evil doers. In this case, Americans are told that torture is the lesser evol in justifying the USsA's evilness. Nobody expects the inquisition.

It is interesting to me that torture gets so much attention.

It is an issue that directly affects thousands of people. Meanwhile, there are other issues that directly affect millions or billions of people, yet torture gets a comparable amount of attention in the progressive press.

Why?

Slumberjack

Because much of the issues facing all of those people can be attributed to the same corporate minions that carry out torture or who are accomplices to it, such as our own government, while telling us it is for the sake of preserving our safety and freedom.

I just wonder what they find so valuable with [url=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mark-nickolas/khalid-sheik-mohammed-i-g_b_... false and misleading information from alleged masterminds of terror?[/url] You'd think they'd want to nail this case shut with a legit inquiry and obtain evidence by legal means in order to make it public knowledge. They could at least be able to say, Ya see? Do you realize just how right we've been all along in revoking civil liberties, the renditions and torture, and with the obscene warfiteering to the point of bankrupting the country? And, they would if they could. We can be sure.
