What would Canada be like if run by NDP in today's world

I think if you are a long term strategist and realist you will notice that the majority of Canadians would not be affected whether Liberals or Conservatives are in power as most of their smart and dumb policies of difference don't affect the majority of Canadians to a point where their daily life changes. Its more based on a few issues adn the principles around them. Therefore, I am okay with Liberals or Conservatives.

However, Lately I've noticed NDP really just focusing on particular groups and acts like a old fashioned/poor strategic vote bank politics exploiter

They are lacking in consistent ideology and are just caring for certain groups and anti-certain groups. For example, why does NDP support some minorities and doesn't care for some? Shouldn't they be the voice for all minorities. I think NDP needs to become more consistent and less based on bias and discrimination like the Liberals (with the exception of Daltons team) and then they might be okay and actually good for the nation

per chance could you tell us what minorities the NDP are focusing on, and excluding?

I'd say economic policy is a large one for the NDP. Economic policies in general affect everyone in Canada. And the NDP has consistently opposed the second-hand neoliberal ideology permeating Canada for the last 30 years.

As for how minorities are treated in Canada, the NDP has always spoken up in Parliament for the rights of minorities fairly consistently. The NDP has always opposed systematic apartheid policies of the two old line parties, the Liberals and Tories. The NDP has criticized both old line parties' backwards immigration policies whichever of them are in power or sharing power with the other in Ottawa.

Millions are indeed negatively affected on a constant basis by liberal/con-job policies.  For many of us, certainly a tax rate change here, a cut in funding there, or as is usually the case regardless of who pulls the strings, lip service and utter disregard for the condition of large swaths of the population, it can easily come to pass without much notice or discomfort beyond being slightly irritating.  That blissful state of unawareness comes with the privilege of being ok with shell game politics.  The rest do not have the time for idle strategy, what with the realism of daily survival being more of a pressing concern.

Which is why the corporate fascists are so happy to keep issuing credit to the marginal for a consumerist lifestyle they can't afford. People in thrall to wage slavery don't have time to stop and think, let alone become politically aware and active.

My guess is that had the federal government been run by the NDP for a generation, that it would likely have come to look more like the Swedish SDP today. It would have found that some of its ideas work, some don't. Some of its ideas would have been polished. It would have had to work together with the right on occasion to achieve results, etc. It woudl likely have come to look like the Swedish SDP in many ways, opting for a 'third way' that seeks out the right blending of socialism and capitalism.

Is this the ideal notional NDP or the actual NDP.

There's quite a difference.
