This shame and all the ones who have died hopelessly,with no human dignity left, and you people call this a cultured nation? Every drop of blood that has been lost is on hands of those who could have done something but chose to do nothing as it was unpopular politically.

There isnt a progressive who doesnt know about this. Its a deep shame that does come back to the fore once in a while... I remember John McCallum talking about it years ago... course the libs did squat about it... A new Federal Program in Moncton is being tried for about 100 homeless people...

I love how these progrms need to be 'studied' when the problem has been around for so long...
We need to get rid of leaders who do not lead or represent the public's best interests. We have progressed so quickly in the past fifty years in some areas but are desperately lacking in others. We need visionaries to sculpt a future more humane that human. The federal political parties and their antiquated, obsolete, paralyzed, failed policies need to be replaced before there is no chance to repair the damage done.

As I understand this project, they're going to study whether providing housing to the mentally ill improves their quality of life. I'd be curious to know how much this study is going to cost and why we're wasting the money. Do we really need a panel of experts to conclude that a home is a fundamental ingredient of a healthy life? I hate these asshole commissions.
