Sexual Assault Prevention Tips Guaranteed to Work!

1. Don't put drugs in people's drinks in order to control their behavior.

2. When you see someone walking by themselves, leave them alone!

3. If you pull over to help someone with car problems, remember not to assault them!

4. NEVER open an unlocked door or window uninvited.

5. If you are in an elevator and someone else gets in, DON'T ASSAULT THEM!

6. Remember, people go to laundry to do their laundry, do not attempt to molest someone who is alone in a laundry room.

7. USE THE BUDDY SYSTEM! If you are not able to stop yourself from assaulting people, ask a friend to stay with you while you are in public.

8. Always be honest with people! Don't pretend to be a caring friend in order to gain the trust of someone you want to assault. Consider telling
them you plan to assault them. If you don't communicate your intentions, the other person may take that as a sign that you do not plan to rape them.

9. Don't forget: you can't have sex with someone unless they are awake!

10. Carry a whistle! If you are worried you might assault someone "on accident" you can hand it to the person you are with, so they can blow it if
you do.

And,

ALWAYS REMEMBER: if you didn't ask permission and then respect the answer the first time, you are committing a crime- no matter how "into it" others appear to be.

Wonderful, martin, and an excellent mockery of the ridiculous "safety tips" women are "told" to do.

Michelle

Do you have any examples?  I can't remember coming across any.

 they would be:

1. make sure you never leave your drink unattended

2. carry a whistle in case of attack by an assaulter

3. never travel alone in public

4. keep aware of your surrounding even while doing mundane tasks such a laundry in a public setting

5. keep all doors and windows shut and locked even if the heat is unbearable.

6. if you break down on the road in a car never accept help from strangers

Oh, I see what you mean.

And I'm pretty sure she doesn't mean like is done in private nursing homes to sedate the elderly. Besides, doping someone in a bar or while socializing in general is illegal.

A political view of rape - to which we could add the State-sanctioned prostituting of impoverished women:

(...) However, by the end of the 15th century, a counter-revolution was already under way at every level of social and political life. First, efforts were made by the political authorities to co-opt the youngest and most rebellious male workers, by means of a vicious sexual politics that gave them access to free sex, and turned class antagonism into an antagonism against proletarian women. ... The criminal authorities practically decriminalized rape, provided the victims were women of the lower class. ... Gang-rape of proletarian women became a common practice which the perpetrators would carry out openly and loudly at nignts, in groupes of two to fifteen, breaking into their victim's homes, or dragging their victims into the streets, without any attempt to hide or disguise themselves.
