Pro Choice Coalition Ottawa is coordinating a pro-choice presence during the 'spiritual warfare' ironically called "40 Days for Life". We have consulted with the Morgentaler clinic to learn what they needed most. We are quietly standing beside the clinic entrance in bright pink Pro-Choice tee shirts. We are not engaging with the anti-choicers. We are protecting women's reproductive rights and informing the authorities whenever we think the "40 Days" people are violating the terms of their protest permit.
Volunteers are needed to take a shift of an hour or more.
We hope to have 2 pro-choice people present on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am to 4:00pm - when the clinic is open for patients.
