It turns out that, apart from everything else it has going on at the moment, the Department of National Defence is in the midst of a $25,000 pilot project aimed at determining which uniform designs would best camouflage Canadian soldiers if our troops were deployed in our own cities.
Do they know something we don't?

Well golly gee, im not going to get any sleep tonight, soo scary..honestly.
This honestly scares the hell out of me. Those fascists in Ottawa are assuming more powers at the expense of our civil liberties. All under the guise that this is to protect our cities from global and so called "home grown" terrorists.
Oh hell not another uniform. I don't have closet space for this.
If we did actually get a urban uniform it would look something like this.

That will never happen. It looks too scary. The CF has all kinds of public affair officers who get paid big bucks to tell the government that yes soldiers who look like big bad scary stormtroopers is not a good thing.
We would just use our green ones.
This is just another way for the CF to waste money. $25'000 blown on a report that will sit in a shealf but pay for some generals trip to Mexico.
