Well Gus, unless it's just a coincidence, I believe the author of that article is:
1. A Canadian from Toronto.
2. A member of babble (at least an ex-member - he used to post here under that very name).
3. Filing this same story with various newspapers [url=http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1137409.html][color=red]around the world[/color][/url], so it's hard to know where it originated.
Having said that, I think he's wrong as well. It never ceases to amaze me how wrong Canadians can be when it comes to anything.

It's pretty clear that Obama would have voted for that act, and I'm glad to see that at least in Canada, they are waking up to the danger caused by the unintended consequences of liberals who have lost their sense of history. Gus, no offense, but, really, we know and understand their narrative far better than our own or anyone else's. There is really nothing to be learned from that other than to acknowledge the echo chamber . Although I suppose I could also suggest that it seems the conservative heartland has adopted Zionism as both an imperial battering ram and as a prop to claim, "we're not racist. See! We love all these nice white Jewish folk now that we've finally let them into the country clubs."

I couldn't agree with you more, Gus, and the hell of it is I'm exactly 1/2 American. Deer Lodge, Montana. Home of the state prison.
The highway sign actually reads "Home of the [blah, blah, blah] Prison" and their sports team is The Wardens.
