My guess is, they'll bring in 50,000 Celine Dion imitators to drown out the booing. I believe the spectators and the viewing audience at home would be able to file a class-action lawsuit for the hearing loss and psychological trauma this will cause.

Harper offered the Olympics as an excuse for prorogation? I'm hoping for plenty of rain at Whistler in February, to make a few more people think about CPC performance at Copenhagen.

You know, I DID have a dream a few nights ago about a stadium that had a large inflatable Celine Dion in each section.

I think this is a bad idea to try and organize.
1 many of the people against Harper are also boycotting the Olympics already.
2 some people that will go will have families and may be put off with mixing that with organized political protest
3 it may not work as the people that will be there will not be a cross-section of ordinary Canadians
4 The people who will be there will be the "elites" unlike those who are involved in the anti-prorogation protest.
5 Some people who might gladly boo Harper in a local or national setting might not want to do so in an international venue (even if it is located in Canada)
By all means if it happens naturally-- fine but don't advertise it because it may be a set-up for failure.
Some might even want to enjoy the event and pretend Harper did not exist rather than take their entertainment time -- that is so expensive -- for that purpose.
Perhaps a TV boycott might be a good idea-- get people whoa re watching to turn off the TV for the first Ads after Harper speaks-- making it not worthwhile to have that ad spot. In any case I prefer protests that anyone can participate in rather than only those who can afford to be there.
