This is why I get so upset anytime someone refers to other posters as Nazis on message forums.We're just helping to keep the Nazis alive in our culture.
The video of some hitler speech posted here a few days ago and it was some spoof on making fun of Harper and the conservitives. Everyone LOLed at it.
I wonder how many teenage white conservitve minded boys and girls seen that spoof and said wtf well maybe I am a right wing nazi so what of it? And embrace the stereotype. Neo nazi's love the fact that we use it so much against each other when we disagree don't like what someone is saying or want to tanish someones character and point of view.
By using it like we do we turn the word Nazi from something monsterous to common place like teenagers and adults calling each other gay or fags on forums and games.
Calling someone gay should not be an insult and calling someone who displays even some kind of raist behavior a Nazi is an ilsult to all the people who suffered under them.

Well Sparky, have to disagree with you here. Calling someone "gay" depends on who and how it is used and 90 percent of the time, it is meant as an insult. Don't know what planet you're on but am sure glad you don't make the rules over what's hurtful or an insult or not. Certainly being gay, bi or whatever is not the problem. Hateful messages from straights are.

I mean being gay should NOT be something that is embarassing, considered wrong or grounds to insult! I wish when it was said it was not used for hateful reasons. I hope that clears it up.

What an interesting an frightening video.

As I was watching the video, I jotted down a couple of remarks: According the video, a Department of Homeland Security report warns that right wing extremists are now "the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States." Later, we hear, "Law enforcement in the US remains on its guard for violence from many quarters of the white supremacist world." The CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, et al, probably are profiling the members of these groups; they probably do have a database; and so on.

Yes, TOprof, but do they also have a list of all white people who could be linked to these groups (e.g. all those congress peeps)? Do they do extra security checks on white men at the airport? Do we place special pressure on other white men to denounce these haters? I think that is what the blogger is getting at.

White supremacy has always been and remains a central feature of both the US and Canada - remember Somalia, Shidane Arone and the Airborne? How about Betty Osbourne? Or the Indian Act? If NATO was doing what they're doing to white people in Afghanistan, even bovine canuckleheads might start mooing loud enough to put a stop to it.
