"stupid ass ditch diggers"

Unfortunately this elitist mentality is typical of some, of the so-called educated in our society. As if there is something wrong with blue collar work. FWIW there are longshoremen in BC who are earning $300,000 a year. Yes, that's $300,000 a year, but no, some of the brilliant ones would rather have their PhDs and then end up driving a cab for a living. It doesn't take much to figure out who the truly stupid ones really are.

West Coast Greeny, a belated warning to not say classist insults like "stupid ass ditch diggers".

WTF? Weed, if anything, should be mandated as a requirement for the young (right after their brains are developed, just in case.)... thinking of driving a car? Practice and get a license ... thinking of being involved in society in an intelligent and creative manner? Smoke some pot then think and rethink your previously held dogmas.

Besides, if you wait till you're older to start smoking weed,  all it will do is make you paranoid and maybe cause your heart to race.

Obviously someone who was a square in the sixities. He used to be roomies with Bobby Rae, I can only imagine what that was like.Iggy with a glass of sherry deeply engrossed in some Nietzsche.Rae stoned blaring some Hendrix.

Probably wrong about this andthey were both totally dull and stuffy. Anyways, what the hell is talking about.

Bob Rae has hinted otherwise but that's besides the point. Rae's decision to place dead cows in protest of the Vietnam War on St. George Street in 1969 certainly had a certain "halluciogenic " quality to it.
I like to dedicate this song to Iggy in thanks for that quote which made my day

They use gangs of kids in democratic capitalist India to wheelbarrow mountains of muck and concrete because manual labour is cheaper than using modern earth moving equipment. I think I can see where Iggy is coming from.

If they want to give kids hope for the future in bananada, then make higher education more affordable than getting high or recreational eating. Political leaders must instill hope in the people they hope will vote for them. Otwerise theyre just Bay Street stooges areshole creeping around the public for votes. Iggy is not a leader he's a wooden puppet. His eyes don't look real. Nothing behind them.

Remind, good comments re classist bullshit.  I don't think manual labour is something to be ashamed of and thats what I was hearing in this thread.   Someone still has to shovel the asphalt into the potholes, or all those white collar college students are going to bust an axle on the prius.
