or maybe the kind of person who want to blow up civilians in Times Square - is the kind of person who is very very stupid.

Most of these homocide or suicide bombers are pretty dimwitted. Richard Reid the would be shoe bomber - dumb as a post; the underwear bomber - dumb as a post, the Times Square would be bomber - as dumb as a post. The guy even left the keys to his getaway car in the car bomb and went back to Connecticut by commuter train!

If these guys were any smarter than they were they would be recruiting really stupid dimwits to carry out terrorist attacks rather than being thes doing them.

Anyway, to say it is about the "oil" in the direct sense is a misnomer. The invasion of Afghanistan has to do with asserting regional influence, and the relationship to the Caspian Sea resources is indirect.

This: "Containing" Iranian power is a fundamental part of controlling the mid-east oil supply.

Please, you can find basic instructions on bomb making on the internet. And, supposedly this deep cover agent is connected with some of the best improvised bomb makers in the world. So, what is up with that? It stinks a bit.

The Pentagon knows how to pick its "Manchurian candidates". It's no accident these guys leave clues all over the place to trace them back to the original scene of the 'crime'.
