What is up with this, and why is no one running against Adam Vaughan?

Doug

Probably because they aren't likely to win.

Certainly not, if no one builds an organization and runs. You don't have to win first time out.

I think a lot of people get put off because of the huge margins of victory, and would have to build their network from the ground-up. This puts people off, especially in an incumbent-friendly place like Toronto. I can think of one instance for TDSB where the winner won by 14,000 votes, and surprise, surprise, no-one challenged her next time around.

I think Vaughan is vulnerable.
