I've posted Rap News links before on Babble but haven't gotten much response. I think it's a great series, accessible truth telling.
They've done a lot on Wikileaks, this one is looking at more at the Wisconsin protests than anything else.

Rap News, Episode 7: It's 2011 and amid a flurry of political leaks and revelations, revolutions have rolled across North Africa and The Middle East, sweeping regimes and dictatorships before them. Join your host Robert Foster for long overdue analysis of these events, asking the question that's on everyone's lips -- where will revolution spark next? But when a news flash comes in from a special embedded correspondent, the episode takes an unprecedented turn, as that very question is answered in dramatic fashion. How will the world treat the latest courageous country to throw off the yoke of oppression? Is any cow sacred in this time of massive upheaval? Can there be any doubt that History Is Happening?
Bump, because it's so good and babblers still haven't noticed it. 40,000 views in 2 days.
I enjoyed it wage zombie. Thanks for posting.
I'm glad you liked it. Do you think it's subversive, or simply entertaining?
I find the way that they can present and spoof many different opposing perspectives adds a richness to the analysis that is very rare these days.
Here's a propagandist hand up, wz:
I'm not sure if it's subversive--it's white boy hip hop, after all--but it's very tight and well put together, and does a good job of tying together a bunch of interconnected but seemingly disparate political threads. I fb'd that shit, though, and I look forward to the next release.
Don't you think there's a bit of minstrelsy at play in it, what with a white man playing a mexican with a razor sharp knife at his belt? I was actually hesitant to post it as a youtube goodie. I thought that you lot would consider it racist.
