Allot. If most Syrians support Assad how can a hand full of outsiders defeat him right in front of his supporters and his army? You're prolly right. Al-CIA'duh will likely require the services of the luftwaffe. Just like they needed in creating AlCIA'duh in the Maghreb.
Never forget.
Even that woun't help. Syria has one of the most advanced air defense systems in the Middle East... it will not be like Libya.
I'm guessing the Gladio gang will lean on their al-Qa'eda allies. Zawahiri and his brothers did a fine job for NATO, the CIA and their KLA buddies in Kosovo. And the CIA has reported that Zawahiri was behind the recent terrorist attacks in Alleppo, Syria. The ICRC are even back in the groove demanding a ceasefire, like the good old days in South-East Asia when the Red Cross insisted on supplying food aid to the Thai army who, in turn, were actively supporting the Khmer Rouge. I'm sure Qaeda wing of the CIA would love for them to bomb Syria from the air, like the doctor and the madman did in paving the way for the KR to takeover Cambodia in the 1970s. But I think Balkanization is on order in this case.
Khmer Rouge, Al-Qa'eda, what's the diff, eh, Bec? The Gladio Gang has allied themselves with and supported the scum of the earth over the years. Some things never change.
