There are endless scorecards and counter-scorecards of who did what to whom in Syria when there are limited facts and information coming out.
It would be comical were it not for the deadly fallout and the loathsome spectacle of cheerleaders for violence.
What should be abundantly clear is the preponderance of information and disinformation promoted in the West is designed bring on yet another self-serving regime change justified by the "humanitarian" introduction of more weaponry, and the justification of phoney "humanitarian intervention".
Western media and governments for the most part are an uncritical echo chamber in a closed loop for interventionist agitating shadowy "sources".
Standard propaganda practice is to plant the desired slanted "outrages" in the public mind (repeated in the posts of the complicitous and dupes) and, when the story is modified by unsolicited reality--plant those unwanted details on page 99.
The first stories are the ones that will stick in the managed minds of the public.

But Syrian officials colored that account with their usual terminology of blaming “foreign terrorist gangs” for all violence. The government said the Syrian Army had inflicted “heavy losses” on the “terrorists.” ....
