Former Wildrose campaign manager Tom Flanagan has been dumped by the party over comments questioning the harm of child pornography.
In a speech at the University of Lethbridge Wednesday night, Flanagan — a University of Calgary professor and former adviser to Stephen Harper — said he had “grave doubts about putting people in jail because of their taste in pictures.”
It is a real issue of personal liberty, to what extent we put people in jail for doing something in which they do not harm another person,” he said
