So, I think I spelled good? How we doin'?
Fuck all y'all, I know you can do better than this...
Just don't talk about UFO's or military dictatorships orchestrating an inside job on 9/11. They will mock you like the inquisition.
Perhaps, you a good dude Fidel. Get back on the bit my friend. One job at a time.
Just don't talk about UFO's or military dictatorships orchestrating an inside job on 9/11. Impossible!! And besides, they will mock you like the inquisition.
Thanks, RP. I`ll have a look around for that bit. Haven`t seen it in a while. I`ll let you know if I find it.

Let me know what u think!
Are you ok, RP?
maybe the generical level of friendliness could use a boost
it can deteriorate pretty quickly when you have several people who know they're right
Ryan,
Have I upset you?
Ryan,
If I have, then I am truly sorry, and I will stop. We need to work together like you said earlier.
busy schedules for everyone, chat when you can
It's like they say, RP; if you have to ask...
It's like they say, RP; if you have to ask...
I'm delusional enough to think WE can make a difference?
Are you ok, RP?
I'm fucking AWESOME! How are you Caissa? You doing OK?
How are the kids Caissa?
I appreciate how GOOD this board is. Y'all good folks.
Is Y'all ready to talk about this?
The board is by policy, mental health friendly. That is a fact. It is populated by people who each and every one, try to be and believe they are mental health friendly. That is an opinion, albeit a strong one. Conflicts arise when strongly and sincerely held, yet competing narratives are put forth in an emotionally highly charged atmosphere. That's an observation, and a subjective one at that.
Most here know I'm a case manager with the CMHA as well as a consumer. Under one hat I have strong beliefs and opinions which I apply to my own treatment. Under the other hat I have a strong belief that your opinions, as they apply to your own treatment, matter more than mine do.
I find for the most part that works out best in a highly imperfect world.
RevolutionPlease your spelling stands out as an example to us all.
Are you ok, RP?
I'm fucking AWESOME! How are you Caissa? You doing OK?
Just thought I'd requote this as a disparaging remark to all those that struggle. I know you mean well Caissa, much like others around me. I appreciate the concern but not the tone.
eta: This is a terrible medium to change the world, im working on a new one.
And fuck you oldgoat. :)
RP, that is an abusive and unacceptable comment. I strongly suggest you apologize to Oldgoat.
I don't know if the term 'mental health' with respect to determining an individual's level of wellness in that regard is an appropriate one, because the comparison of someone's wellness seems to be always measured against the determinants, at least in our circumstances, of a society which shouldn't logically be considered sane on the best of days. To my mind, it seems that it is primarily individuals who have little or no spare capacity, or indeed willingness, to continue absorbing and processing the insanity around them, who are singled out by those who do as being defective. The term 'mental health' and the scale of measures contained within should be applied to society and its leadership institutions before the gaze falls upon an individual, which is where I think we'd begin to look forward to some real progress, both in terms of devising treatment options for societal ills, and care of an individual who has seen enough.

I'm pretty sure he was joking Rebecca. That's how I took it.
Oops, didn't notice the smiley. Sorry RP.
It just arrived at my house yesterday and I haven't had a chance to read it but the latest edition of The Walrus has an article titled The Mainstreaming of Mental Health. Has anyone read it?
I think Babble would only be accepting of mental health issues "if" those issues were clearly spelled out. Thus calling Catchfire or Rebecca pseudo-prison guard wannnabes would be unacceptable from a "norm", but if you explain your mental dilemma you may evade a ban.
I think Babble is mental health friendly. You may evade a ban? I don't really understand your post, Fly.
What I mean is a bannable "tirade" may be excused if beforehand knowledge of a persons mental issues was known. Otherwise your ass is grass. In other words it is the person with those issues responsibility to divulge personal information to strangers or risk a banning if your posts are "inflammatory". Of course not all persons with mental health issues are prone to making such posts.
Can you show me a bannable tirade that was excused because the poster claimed mental illness exclusion?
No
I'm sure I've gotten leeway as have you Francesca. Don't make me look it up.
But that's IMPORTANT, isn't it?
And fly is right, had we never divulged, things might be different. But that's a cross to bear, lol.
Hey, everything's bout pubic opinion so what can we do?
Maybe that's where a lot of the missing conservative trolls got off on the wrong foot. You can't expect to get away with peddling that shit without some sort of disclaimer.
What are we talking about? Peddling what shit? Are we still talking about being mental health friendly? I need my coffee.
Conservative ideology, that shit. As far as 'still' talking about being mental health friendly, OG mentioned something in relation to the topic back in January.
Are you saying people who identify as having mental health issues are allowed to be conservative trolls? Is that what you mean by a "disclaimer"?
Now I need a coffee. bbs.
