Saskatchewan's representation in Ottawa may change with new electoral boundaries. This gives a talented candidate like Noah Evanchuk a chance to run in purely urban riding.
If this plays out the way I believe it will - NDP'er Noah Evanchuk will run in Regina-Lewvan against a new Conservative and is probably a favorite. Ralph Goodale will run again in Wascana, but he lost a lot of votes last time around, so he's not totally a lock to win. I'm also thinking this puts the seat of speaker-of-the-house Andrew Scheer in play if he faces a good candidate. Scheer is probably the safest Regina MP, but I wouldn't exactly bet my house on him.
The other Conservative candidates in Saskatchewan will shift around a bit, with Ray Boughen retiring. Also wondering if Harper will use this an opportunity to cast-off some exceptionally weak MP's.
