Well whether ethey should or not,  they have done it.

CUPE is helping back the Yes side of the referendum, including flying in someone who successfully fought off a similar plan in Abbotsford, BC.

It is intrersting that the city let this referendum happen, after they dug their heels in on the stadium referendum issue.

The move to allow the referendum was outside Regina's political mindset over the past several years. Admitedly, I am a bit conspiracy-minded but I'm tempted to believe that this referendum is a misdirection that is drawing attention from something more important.

Guessing something is going to hatch about the railyard/stadium project, and the PTB are trying to exhaust voters or activists for the big suprise.

Are there any polls out on the Regina sewage debate?

Here is a Leader Post article referencing a poll which puts the pro-P3 position slightly ahead.

The mayor hasn't come across very well, but I can't say either side has scored a major hit.   I supsect a tiny turnout, which makes it hard to predict.
