letter to the T.O. Star years ago claimed Brian Mulroney had a
"peristaltic grin." I had to look it up -- and, sure
enough, it was true. Nice line.
As for O'Leary, did you know Boston has
been home to this Great Canadian since the mid-90s? That's according
to a profile in a Boston paper. Pretty sure Kevvy Two-Shows keeps a
pied-a-terre somewhere in our little big land. Thankfully, it's not
next to me.

@oldgoat - thanks for the "always quotable" designation [btw, did you recently have dental work done, or is that your tongue distending your cheek?], but I would also remind you that babble does have a more appropriate forum for your nomination of Kevin O'Leary - "the media". While I think your recognition of O'Leary as a major league asshat is bang on, this thread was intended to focus on a particular sub-species of asshat. I am going to have to deduct points from your score for promoting thread drift unless you take immediate steps to quote some nugget of manure issuing from Mr. O'Leary that has particular relevance to this forum/thread.

Well, on the subject of Mr O'Leary's bloviations, I think his comment last week that global inequality was "fantastic" should certainly qualify him for something .... though its not LGBT related, I grant you.

Upon reflection, I guess it is all my fault. I should have adopted a tone of earnest outrage at the beginning rather than count on anyone paying attention to the actual placement of the thread within the LGBT forum. Perhaps one of the moderators (past or present) will move this thread to "babble banter" or some other suitable venue (from the way drift is going, "the media" might also be a good home for it).
@Unionist... thanks for noticing where it was situated, and @sherpa-finn... thanks for at least acknowledging that post #11 is not LGBT related.
