No NDPP, That was a 50th anniversary memorial event organized by a private group. It was a burial. It is pretty common to see priests there.
Got any pictures of Ukrainian clerics blessing guns and weapons? Has Petro Poroshenko made any pronouncements about alignment with the church? Does he have a Christian Orthodox biker gang ? ... or has he said anything like this?:
“Many Euro-Atlantic countries have moved away from their roots, including Christian values. Policies are being pursued that place on the same level a multi-child family and a same-sex partnership, a faith in God and a belief in Satan. This is the path to degradation.”
Though the situation is a bit different. The Ukrainian government hasn't had to use the Ukrainian Orthodox church as a front organization in prisoner swap negotiations because it isn't denying that it is fighting a war.
And the fact is, Purin hasn't so much propped up the church as taken it over, elements of tolerance, or which don't align with his policy are being driven out, like every other media or organization he has taken over.

Pat Buchanan and right-wing Christians in the U.S. love him, though; or at least they did before the Ukraine crisis:
