Lesley Gore, R.I.P.

So many memories (for us boomers). She was 68, died of lung cancer, never smoked. In 2005, she came out as lesbian. And besides much other feminist activism, here is an amazing U.S. election ad from the 2012 campaign. She speaks movingly at the end of the clip:
