Kiev's Every Move Undermines the Position of the US

http://thesaker.is/kievs-every-move-undermines-the-position-of-the-unite...

"In an interview with the radio station Russia Today, Rostislav Ishchenko, President of the Center for Systematic Analysis and Forecasting, talks about who is trying to draw Russia into a military conflict, and why, Crimea's role in the situation, and the splitting of Ukraine into separate territories...

'Even now, when efforts to propel Europe into a direct confrontation with American have failed and are unlikely to succeed, the US is interested in seeing Russian troops in the Ukraine, because they cannot hold onto the Ukraine, and it's clear that the Kiev government will fall.

The longer the government lasts in Kiev, the more money and resources, including political, diplomatic and economic resources, the US will inevitably lose in propping it up. No one wants to waste resources on what is basically a lost cause. If Russia takes control of the Ukraine, then it will become Russia's responsibility, politically, economically and financially. Until then, it's the responsibility of the US.

And each successive move by the Kiev regime, each escalation of the terror, is slowly but surely eroding the position of the US, because sooner or later it will be necessary to admit that they have organized and supported a Nazi regime..."

As has Canada, and a large part of its 'progressive' mushheads, who never have to answer for this complicity, and like Libya, as now with Ukraine, will simply 'forget' their Nazi cheerleading role in it. Thankfully Babble records and preserves their shame for history.

The Ukrainian regime has rejected Minsk 2. All the pretenses about wanting peace are now fully exposed.

The resistance will be blamed and fresh opportunities for slaughtering schoolchildren, old people, hospital patients, etc. will be provided for the brutal Canadian and US-sponsored junta in Kiev.

Quote:
A month after the Minsk agreement the masks are off. New weapons are coming, American instructors are in Ukraine, the IMF credit is approved. Time to get back to killing the kids of Donbass. Where are the sanctions on Kiev?

Did anyone have any doubts that those who chose bombs instead of talks a year ago will flip and turn into peacemakers? There is no other choice in the alternate reality perpetuated by the Ukrainian media. There is no other choice for the ultra-nationalist Kiev government, like there was no choice for Hitler. It has to follow the program. They only understand the language of force. Only when Novorossia forces enter Kiev will anything change.

The only reason they paused the war is because they were annihilated, and couldn't physically go on. But that's no longer a problem, thanks to the Americans, who can't wait to start killing the Russians.

Will Europe open its eyes and realize what monster they helped create?

Back to war? Ukrainian parliament rejects the Minsk agreement

Quote:
Verkhovnaya Rada rejected the Minsk agreements, promising a storm of Donetsk

The Verkhovna Rada after a day of backroom negotiations on Tuesday night voted in favor of a resolution on Donbass. In fact, the documents violate the Minsk agreement. Firstly, the Ukrainian side has already failed the deadline for the adoption of laws. Secondly, MPs rejected the dialogue between Kiev and DPR and LPR, declaring the Republics - "occupied territories". Thirdly, the Ukrainian Parliament appealed to the UN Security Council with a proposal for the deployment of a peacekeeping mission, which is opposed by the militia. Moreover, the representatives of Peter Poroshenko had promised that the army will eventually bring Ukrainian order to Donetsk and Lugansk.

"We can negotiate only when Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts hold elections under the full control of the Ukrainian government...

Yes, what they want is the peace of the graveyard. Then, and only then, will they "negotiate" ...

And then we sit and talk. Make economical arrangements, build up good-neighbor relations as equal partners."

'Disgraceful Decisions'

http://cassad-eng.livejournal.com/144892.html

"As the leaders of the proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics A Zakharchenko and I Plotnitsky announced, no compromise with Kiev is possible until the 'disgraceful decisions' made by the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko and its Verkhova Rada regarding the special status of Donbas are cancelled.

The only thing that is interesting in all these accusations directed at the junta of doing what it always does - violating all agreements that are signed with it - are the terms of the next sequence of fraud and deceit that  will conclude with high intensity military action. The fact Kiev is not going to implement the Minsk Agreements is absolutely obvious.

DPR- PM Zakharchenko: UAF Attacks Spartak Settlement, UA Gov't Undermines Minsk Agreement

https://youtu.be/SHYPihfRqgk

"It has become clear to everyone that Kiev doesn't want peace. There is no dialogue. People's sufferance is coming to an end. So, if Mariupol and Konstantinovka ask we'll come. The Minsk Agreements have basically been anulled by yesterday's decision and the actions of Kiev.

These problems were meant to be solved politically. It was the main purpose of the Minsk meetings. Now Kiev acts as if this never existed at all. So, if Kiev doesn't understand the first time, doesn't understand the second time, it will understand the third or the fourth. We're ready for as much hostilities as necessary to make Kiev understand.

If Poroshenko thinks that his army is that combat capable, as he boasts, then we're ready to make another one, two or three 'cauldrons'. And we'll keep making these 'cauldrons' until they realize. There's still hope that Kiev will finally come to their senses and will return to the Minsk Agreements it made.

Germany and France gave guarantees regarding the Minsk Agreement, so the responsibility for Kiev's actions rests with Europe. Europe needs to do something about Kiev and make Kiev keep their agreements."

How Poroshenko lost it.

Fort Russ wrote:
Ukraine’s president Poroshenko made threats against people about to be laid off - Borispol airport workers. He yelled at the assembled workers, then said that if they raise their voice against him, “they’ll be taken away.”

At first Poroshenko issued an emotion-laden explanation of the reasons behind layoffs. He said that they are not illegal, and that if the airport workers believe they were laid off unlawfully, they can turn to the courts. Courts whose impartiality will be ensured by…Poroshenko himself.

“Right now the government is economizing. Yanukovych cost the state 1.5 billion hryvnya per month. Now we are spending only 800 million on the president—we are making cutbacks. The presidential administration was cut by 40%. Today, when there’s a war on, nobody will be supported by the government budget. That’s why there are cuts. In full accordance with the law.”

Poroshenko also exhorted the laid-off workers to "earn money."

These words caused the crowd to be even more upset. In order to calm down the protesters, Poroshenko sternly warned: “Don’t you raise your voice at me, or you’ll be taken away.”

6079_Smith_W

No, I mean if he has a problem with it, why was it not a problem a year ago, when it was the other side flying flags with the face of Jesus on their tanks, and murdering people who weren't orthodox, or Vladimir Putin talking about religious values and rights, and invoking the Orthodox church as part of his official policy.

Nothing wrong with pointing out a double standard.

ikosmos ikosmos's picture

What a crock of shite. The Ukrainian junta has (damaged or) destroyed 70 Orthodox churches so far. They don't like the unifying role that the Orthodox churches are playing in the Donbass freedom struggle. The Novorossiyan resistance has destroyed ... zero churches.

NDPP is perfectly correct to draw attention to the attempt to use and link up all sorts of fundamentalists in the pathologicial Russophobic orientation of the junta. The unity of these elements is frothing Russophobia and, therefore, the Orthodox Church is a target for destruction.

Supplemental:

Quote:
Nina Kouprianova: "A significant role played by Orthodox Christianity in the Donbass conflict is also evident from the fact that over 70 churches had been deliberately damaged or destroyed in this region by the West-backed Kiev forces. How the liberal and anarchist left became swept up in the surge of right-wing nationalism in Ukraine.

Dmytriy Kovalevich wrote:
The serious flaws of our left and anarchist tactics in Ukraine (which resulted in its current weakness) can be traced to the early 2000’s and the wrong approach adopted by many of them that time. It is particularly expressed in their permanent, short-term approaches – the desire to get results immediately....

The dilemma faced by the lefts was something like the following: when you see a hundred middle-class nationalists rallying and demanding privileges for themselves, what tactics do you choose? Do you create an opposing group to challenge them and their ideas, or do you intervene and try to influence and hijack the middle-class nationalists concerns? The liberal left in Ukraine chose the latter. But as a result, they were the ones to be influenced, not the other way around.

Why don't you show the 70 or more churches that the "terrorists" have destroyed? If these were synagogues, we would be hearing loud shouts that it constituted "cultural genocide" but, since they're only Orthodox Churches, the Western MSM is silent, just as they are silent about the 1,000,000 refugees to Russia, the thousands killed by the junta, and the billions in damage to infrastructure.

But yeah, those dastardly Orthodox christians.

6079_Smith_W

Actually, why don't you show us how the Ukrainian government is instituting a policy of religious orthodoxy, including anti-gay legislation and banning swearwords like the Russian government. And flying Jesus flags, like their proxies the rebels. That might add a bit of weight to this bullshit Taliban claim.

At the same time, the country is on the verge of economic collapse.

The reason for this urgent display of honor is apparently the fact that on July 1, 1941 (the day after the Nazis occupied Lviv) A Sheptytsky addressed the congregation with a welcome message for this cause. After that, he met with the leader of OUN (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists), Stepan Bandera, and blesed him for his fight against the Soviets.

Poroshenko's chief henchmen - Arsen Avakov and the CIA's Valentin Nalivaichenko - have indicated that Poroshenko has their full support and loyalty.

In other words, the full power of the junta is now threatening to come down on Kolomoiskii's head. Kolomoiskii, in turn, is preparing some kind of pro-Kolomoiskii 'maidan' in Dnepropetrovsk for Wednesday. It sure looks like the freaks are really going to go after each other..."

Ukraine Facing Dangerous Power Struggle (and vid)

"A power struggle is in the making in Ukraine. The volunteer battalions which are not fully controlled by the Ukrainian government now face a new dilemma: to join the army or leave the front line in East Ukraine. The nationalistic (NAZI) Right Sector has already refused to give up its autonomy.

The battalion is one of the paramilitary units supported by oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. The oligarch was sacked as governor of Dnipropetrovsk by President Petro Poroshenko - an oligarch himself - in the wake of a dispute over the state's richest oil producing companies."

"Fakery in allegiance to the truth."

Wow. What a hack.

I am kind of surprised that a financial reporter doesn't understand that media - of every kind - require financing to run. There is no connection at all between his money slur and reporting on Ukraine, just as there is no connection between his Hemingway yarn and reporting on Ukraine.

Not even any connection between his taking the example one woman reporter and spinning it to blame women in particular for biased reporting against Russia, presumably because they are swayed by "affection" in a way men are not. And really classy, jumping to a smear about women reporters from a mention of who Hemingway wanted to have sex with. Nothing about Gellhorn's writing, only that she "promoted herself" as a war reporter:

Quote:

Once started, the war against Russia has been good for women reporters newly arrived at the Financial Times bureau in Moscow. They have made up in animus towards the Russians what their predecessors had demonstrated of its opposite – that’s to say, affection for a handful of oligarchs whose business practices were never reported as anything but impeccable. These reporter bylines substitute for one another, unmemorably.

Bullshit. And especially bullshit because he doesn't even quote anything that Anne Applebaum has written.

Joseph Goebbels Awards Presented to Ukrainian Journalists

"Anchor of Poroshenko TV channel receives a Goebbels award. The founder of the project is the people's movement Media Lustration. According to the activists of the movement, 'the award will be presented to the brightest violators of standards of information journalism.

For inciting hatred among the Ukrainian people, ethnic hatred, and involved in the creation and dissemination of propaganda, the nominees are:

- Channel 5 journalist Vitaly Gaidukevich, who called for all those who disagree with government policy to gather their suitcases and go to Russia (and a million+ did!).

- 'Ukrainian Week' reporter Bogdan Butkevych for the call to kill part of the population of Donbass.

- Information Minister Yuriy Stets for the monopolization of the right to 'the truth'.

As stated by the movement's spokesman, human rights activist Dmitry Vasilets, lawyers for the organization will identify the facts of the unlawful conduct of journalists and initiate legal proceedings. 'If a crime is committed, a specific call to murder, and the media assists in this, then the media will receive from us an invitation to court and the amount of the claim.

The funds will go to those affected by the conflict in the East of Ukraine', said Vasilets."

UN In Ukraine: Peacekeepers Or NATO Trojan Horse?

"The same day that the March 4th deadline was reached for the political steps to be taken to ameliorate the situation in the Ukraine between the Kiev regime and the Donbass governments, the UN confirmed that it had received a request from President Poroshenko for a 'peacekeeping' force to be sent to Ukraine.

The Russia UN ambassador Vitaly Churkin, correctly remarked that this called into question the Kiev regime's commitment to the Minsk Agreement. The history of UN interventions in the past have too often been a history of betrayal of the people whose peace was supposed to be enforced, and a disguised means of helping one side of a conflict to defeat the other..."
