B) Pipelines in Saskatchewan= yay. Pipelines during toronto center By election= you've got to be kidding.
C) gun registry in rural ridings= not happening. Gun registry in urban ridings= need one.

People in Iraq and Syria just need to accept Shira law and if they don't follow it to the letter they will get their heads cut off. It's none of our business that mass murder is going on over there.

I don't know the specific reasons. There may also have been twining (MPs who can't make it may sometimes pair with those on the other side who can but agree not to) this is done often. Do you have evidence this was not the case?

I know Libby Davies (NDP) is there.
I am not sure but David McGuinty (L) might also be there as he is a part of that.
Carol Hughes was in Whitehorse for committee meetings and was unable to get back in time -- she has spoken about her regrets.
Not sure about the twining but this happens and it is not always possible to get back in time for all votes.
The NDP was 94% there; the Liberals were 89% there. The Conservatives were 88% there.
You would have to ask the MPs who had participating in twining to respect other MPs who could not make it.

NDP urges end to Canada’s Iraq combat mission
The NDP call for an end to the combat mission, urge more humanitarian aid.
Humanitarian aid without security to both ensure it arrives where it is needed and protects it when it does will simply find it's way into the hands of ISIS who will use it in their mass murder.
If we're not going to protect it then the next best thing to do is not send any humanitarian aid at all.

Mulcair would cite the United Nations statutes aimed at international co-existence, to show that Canada has no business doing war in a state that cannot be deemed to be a direct threat to Canada. Nor can we logically claim that we’re in there to save the populace of a sovereign nation from genocide, as we are supporting a regime that is actually pursuing a genocidal agenda that is even more severe and affects more people than the one being pursued by the supposed invaders we are dropping bombs on.
Liberal leader Justin Trudeau would more likely suggest that we should just find a way to make it all legal before proceeding with an action that, truth be told, is similar to actions taken by the Government of Canada while the Liberals were in power, or which the Liberals supported as recently as last fall under the leadership of the self-same Conservative Stephen Harper who is now getting too close to an election for the Liberals to find agreeable on any level.
