US Intelligence Predicted: US Support for Rebels in Syria Would Lead to Fall of Ramadi

http://www.moonofalabama.org/2015/05/us-intelligence-predicted-us-suppor...

"Three new news items provide that the Obama administration as well as Turkey and other countries, have knowingly created the current situation in Syria and Iraq. They knew that their support of the opposition which from the beginning included Al Qaeda would likely lead to the creation of an Islamic State."

The West and ISIS

http://www.counterpunch.org/2015/05/22/the-west-and-isis/

"...Iran, Syria and Hezbollah, supported by Russia, are currently leading the 'real' struggle against the savagery of IS. Yet each of them is regarded as a threat to regional stability and Western interests and scorned as such."

The Head of the GRU Accuses US and Allies of Creating the Transnational 'Islamist Terrorist Network'

"The point is that the head of Russian military intelligence is openly declaring that the so-called 'Islamic terrorism' is not an original or indigenous phenomenon, but an instrument in the toolset of western imperialism which is used to subvert countries which dare oppose the worldwide hegemony of the AngloZionist Empire."

The extravagant press campain about the fall of Palmyra may be the preparation of public opinion for a true military engagement against Daesh. That would be the meaning of the meeting of the 22 members of the Coalition (and 2 international organisations) in Paris, set for the 2nd June. Until then, the Pentagon will have to decide whether they are going to destroy the Islamic Emirate or displace them and use them for other tasks. Three possible destinations may be under consideration – move the jihadists to Libya, to black Africa, or to the Caucasus.

If they do not act, Iran will not sign, and the war will grind on to its paroxysm, because the fall of Palmyra under the action of the jihadists – fabricated by the West – will have the same consequences as the seizure of the region by Aurelin’s legions. Already, the survival of the « Axis of Resistance » is threatened – meaning the coalition Iran-Iraq-Syria-Lebanon-Palestine. Hezbollah is considering a decree for general mobilisation.

so is Canada to take part in this imperialist adventurism, will they participate in these meetings?

No doubt the on the grounds leadership of ISIS will not be stopped as they are verging on Damascas and Baghdad...

Is Canada serious about fighting ISIS?

Will Russia intervene to stop the fall of Damascas? And as they believe ISIS is a proxy of the Pentagon?

US Funding ISIS and Promoting Civil War For Hegemony and Profit

http://off-guardian.org/2015/05/03/us-funding-isis-and-promoting-civil-w...

"...ISIL today continues at a more diabolical extreme - originally funded and armed by the very US-led forces now dropping bombs on it in Syria. Israel even gives ISIL terrorists hospital service on the Syrian border after Mossad and the CIA trained them as a largely ex-Saddam jihad army. All of this seems quite insanely contradictory. But all promotes civil wars and they render peoples helpless against foreign money control.

If one wonders how a desert-crawling line of Japanese open-back trucks gifted by the US, filled with countless irregular fighters in plain view could ever have made it overnight to the point where Western military and political leaders are saying 'the war against ISIL may be interminable,' one begins to see through the game.

ISIL is a construction financed and trained by covert US and oil king allies that ruins every place it enters, like Syria once the regime begins to win the civil war. Al Nusra/Al Qaeda was not enough. ISIL is a step up in the US-led control of the Middle East by terror, chaos and social devastation.."

And the Winner of the Jihad World Cup Is...  -  by Pepe Escobar

http://rt.com/op-edge/265474-isis-syria-iraq-rebels/

"The US-assembled coalition of the willing that-supposedly - is fighting ISIS/ISIL/DAESH across 'Syraq' met in Paris this week. In theory they'd examine what to do next after the loss of Ramadi in Iraq and Palmyra in Syria.

The coalition, also barely mentioned Syria. There is absolutely no ideological/religious difference between Jabhat al Nusra, al-Qaeda's branch in Syria - and ISIS/ISIL/DAESH. And yet Qatar and Turkey are totally in bed with al-Nusra, while suggesting they are opposing the fake Caliphate.

The fiction remains that the coalition is supporting remaining 'moderate rebels' of the Free Syrian Army (FSA). There are no 'moderate' rebels left; they all migrated to al Nusra or ISIS/ISIL/DAESH because that's where the [money and] action is - from tons of weapons to actual military prowess on the ground.

It gets nastier when we know that Doha - via al Jazeera Arabic  - now poses as an official sponsor of al-Nusra; inviting their leaders on air. Their 'mission' in Syria remains regime change; exactly what Doha, Ankara, Riyadh, Tel Aviv [Ottawa] and - for that matter - Washington want.

The bottom line: chaos will contine to prevail. ISIS/ISIL/DAESH will keep advancing in Syria, immune to Pentagon firepower..."

What ISIS Really Wants

The Islamic State is no mere collection of psychopaths.

It is a religious group with carefully considered beliefs, among them that it is a key agent of the coming apocalypse.

Here’s what that means for its strategy—and for how to stop it.

ISIS believes it's not rape if you pray before and after.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/isis-enshrines-a-theology-of-rape/ar...

Quote:

QADIYA, Iraq — In the moments before he raped the 12-year-old girl, the Islamic State fighter took the time to explain that what he was about to do was not a sin. Because the preteen girl practiced a religion other than Islam, the Quran not only gave him the right to rape her — it condoned and encouraged it, he insisted.

He bound her hands and gagged her. Then he knelt beside the bed and prostrated himself in prayer before getting on top of her.

When it was over, he knelt to pray again, bookending the rape with acts of religious devotion.

“I kept telling him it hurts — please stop,” said the girl, whose body is so small an adult could circle her waist with two hands. “He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God,” she said in an interview alongside her family in a refugee camp here, to which she escaped after 11 months of captivity.

Alan (or anyone for that matter) let me poise a straight forward question.

As a caveat yes horrible things are going on all over the world including in our back yard.

This questions pretains soley to ISIS and the situation in Iraq and Syria.

1. Should we as a country involve ourselves with what is happening in Iraq and Syria or should we ignore it?

2. If you believe we should be involved then what should we do to help the people being raped and tortured right now?
