And in answer to your question. It's a popular notion that had or has a poor human rights record. But in fact Iran's record is not as bad as some of the evil monarchies of the ME and certainly isn't as bad as Saudi. And then the apartheid state has to have the world's worse human rights record of all in some of the same respects but moreso in different respects.
