Bad CBC makes Chris Alexander Hang up

http://www.cbc.ca/news/immigration-minister-chris-alexander-hangs-up-on-...

Quote:

CO: “How many of the 200 sponsored have you brought to Canada?”

CA: “Why is that the only question that interests you?

CO: “Because you won’t answer it, that’s why it’s interesting.”

Should have let him call the Liberals the racist party instead:

Old stories, but still keepers! Thx Smith.

No problem. Yes, it has been five years of this stuff, worth remembering.

... especially since none of them are talking now, except for The Leader.

Yes, indeed. And with Right Sector again throwing mollys at Ukrainian policemen on the Maidan and calling for the government's ouster, don't forget this barn-burner...

Among the gangsters on the conservative side of the house this guy definitely stands out from the pack.

When he first arrived on the scene, i saw him as I guess a bit of a vacuous little Ken Doll, but he is one nasty and ruthless peice of business.  He's also really smart and bilingual.  Wouldn't surprise me if he was eyeing the leadership some day.  He has so far largely avoided letting the PMO put him in the position of being made a fool of by the media.   Also, his riding in Ajax has a huge Afghan population that really likes him, and works this pretty efficiently.  Mark Holland used to pretty much own the riding for ages, and is running again for the Libs, but I don't think he'll get it back.  Actually, I think Mark's kind of a smarmy individual himself.

Costs associated with refugees are another way in which corporate schemes and excesses around the world are being socialized.  Only dystopian societies such as neo-liberal Europe and North America can manufacture and maintain such conditions, wherein, the military and security arms of corporatism can soak the public purse dry to further it's own ends around the world, and where, after sufficient public pressure to do something, refugee costs are thrust upon the general public as well.  For corporatism it's always a win win situation.  To my mind, a list of the arms manufacturers and political parties involved in offshore conflicts should be created and kept track of, and the bills associated with refugee costs should be garnished exclusively from party treasuries and corporate vaults.  I believe we'd have world peace in no time.

Or to drop out of sight.

Of course demonizing the media is an important part of dealing with the refugee crisis:

Yeah the politicos get a bit jittery when dead faces are put to their activities don't they?  There's an uncomfortable cause and effect which; even as the activities of the corporate henchmen and women in power, including the support of the 'opposiiton outfits in waiting' continues to enjoy the unprecedented cover of a vast and expensive state security umbrella;  apparently they still do not appreciate the risk of such close, cause and effect relationships being made.  They prefer to live in their disconnected fantasy land where they get to continue engaging in nefarious geopolitical schemes that create refugees all over the planet, without the horrible consequences being revealed.

Mulcair was asked about the refugee crisis after he gave a speech about pensions in Toronto.  He said now's the time for action, not blame.

A poignant interview with Abdullah Kurdi, whose wife Rehan and little boys Aylan and Galip died in an overcrowded boat:

How tone-deaf is harper?

Obviously the solution is to invade:
