\Its offical. Justin Trudeau is the Hillary Clinton of the North, Tom Mulcair is the Bernie Sander of the North. Tom Mulcair is "very worried " about what Prime Minister Stephen Harper is willing to put on the table for TPP, whereas Justin Trudeau said when it comes to the TPP, "it would be unrealistic for us to expect the whold world to stop and wait for the outcome of Canada's election" Justin Trudeau is for the keystone pipeline. Hillary was for the keystone pipeline until September, 2015. Tom Mulcair is against. Can it be anymore obvious? Both Hillary and Justin charged the public for speaking fees. Spread the words
Tom Mulcair is Bernie Sander; Justin Trudeau is Hillary Clinton.
takeitslowly what do you have against Hillary Clinton?
You can support Hilllary Clinton? i support Bernie. People power you know.
It is not that I support one over the other, but what is it about Hillary that you can't support?
do i really have to explain this in a "progressive" board?
Hahaha, Tom Mulcair is no Bernie Sanders.
do i really have to explain this in a "progressive" board?
So Obama would not be "progressive" in your mind as well?
Other than that they both live in North America, Mulciar and Sanders have nothing in common. Next you're going to be saying Mulcair is Jeremy Corbyn.
takeitslowly u are taking the wrong approach as the majority of citizens know who Hillary Clinton is, and not Bernie Sanders.
Jack Layton was like Bernie Sanders: a left wing politician with charisma. Mulcair is closer to Tony Blair: a center-right wing politician who took over a left wing party.
I wish I came up with that Blair comparison, unfortunately I simply heard in on the radio.

Now if you said Trudeau is like Trump a celebrity politician and Mulcair was like Hillary Clinton, people would understand. But comparing Mulcair to Sanders (who people don't know) and Trudeau to Clinton (who people DO know) will backfire. Because more people know who Trudeau and Clinton are.
Yeah, Justin supports Keystone just like Harper so Justin is more like Harper
Tom mulcair is leading a party with a platform that is very much like Bernie Sander. Riainsg the national minimum wage and national child care and affordable housing, very critical of TPP, against keystone pipeline , raising corproate taxes, closing corproate loopholes.
Justin trudeau is very much like hillary not just in policies but also the fact that they are very much a flip flopper and a corproate shill. They are both for trade deals; they are both greedy and in love with themselves, charing fees for speaking in public and backed by corproate donors. They also very mcuh relied on their last name recongition. Sorry Liberals, truth hurts.
Hillary supported keystone piepline until just 2 weeks ago because she is bleeding so much votes to bernie.

Not in Canada
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders
In 1981, at the suggestion of his close friend Richard Sugarman, a professor of religion at the University of Vermont, Sanders ran for mayor of Burlington and defeated six-term Democratic incumbent Gordon Paquette by 10 votes in a four-way contest. Sanders won three additional terms, defeating both Democratic and Republican candidates in successive elections.

He first entered the National Assembly in the 1994 election, winning the riding of Chomedey as a member of the Quebec Liberal Party. Mulcair claims he ran as a Liberal because at the time, it was the only credible federalist political party in Quebec.

and Bernie is running as a democrat because its the only credible choice in the U.S
I prefer my "Mulcair = Nixon; Trudeau = Kennedy" notion.
takeitslowly... I think adma has at least a partial point, Trudeau is really more comparable to a Kennedy... all that "to the manor born" stuff - or something about alternate spouses not making a dynasty, but alternate generations fitting the bill.

Its a breath of fresh air when I hear Tom MUlcair speak on important issues. I never have to guess what he means. Unlike the other parties, he doesnt flip flop everytime he opens his mouth. He has strong conviction. Thats why i support the NDP.
