Like Nixon? He's sounding more like Putin.
If the other parties had any sense they'd have ads all over the television alternating snippits from the two (Harper and Putin, I mean), on the subject of bombing the Middle East to keep the motherland safe. Doubly effective, of course, because of the effort Harper has put into painting Putin as a threat to the motherland.
(Probably not much point in trying - in the ads - to draw out the contradictions involved. It would just turn off the taget audience. This is lowest common denominator stuff - because that's where the Tories find their votes. It's better to let the encroaching fog of cognitive dissonence do the job.)
Then there's Trump and Harper on Muslim refugees.
Cheap and fast to make. If I had the smallest scrap of a first idea of how to edit video I'd make something myself and put it on youtube. But I'm still trying to learn how to work our VCR.
